As stated at the top of the home page, all text including instructions can be translated into various (141!) languages using Google Translate, an add-in to most browsers. To operate, highlight the text, right mouse click and choose Translate from the menu and either read or listen to the result.
Miscellaneous Notes:
The following instructions are for the left hand drive version of the vehicle. If your country uses the RH drive standard, you will need to adapt the instructions if you wish to convert.
Whenever feasible, cut carefully and preserve all wood scraps as they can be used for brackets, gussets, blocks... As my Grandmother used to say, "Waste not, want not."
Use a pencil to mark lines, points, corners...on wood surfaces. Pencil lines can be erased easily.
I use a white marker for metal surfaces. A sharp metal nail or scriber is adequate, but less visible.
Before you begin, read/reread the Must Skills Questions, collect (or make - see below) the tools you will need at least to build the next phase of the project, observe all set up and safety tips, and be ready to apply your specific requirements list. Again, if you do not have some of the tools, skills needed then acquire them! Take some advice from an old guy (me), the younger you are, the more payback you will acquire by using them over the duration of your life. Like all valuable competencies, they are a great investment.
Where appropriate, before each phase of the build, I will specify various homemade tools that will be handy for this phase. These will be typically made from scrap, they will be much cheaper than buying manufactured tools, but, of course, will not last as long.
